Lighting
Getting the light attenuation (fall-off over distance) to look good involved a lot of guesswork. First attemts did not end well:

After some trial and error, it's still not perfect, but good enough for now:
Some cave shots, with creature meshes inserted randomly from leveled creature lists. The (quite crappy looking) water is currently just a flat non-textured surface.
Fog
Fog, on the other hand, was very straight forward to set up. In the last image I set the background color to green, to illustrate that we clip everything beyond the fog view distance.
Creatures
Creatures are NOT displayed correctly yet, but that will have to wait until I implement animation. The yellow blob in the background is the aforementioned water surface.
Tribunal
We can load other ESMs and plugins as well. Here are a couple of shots from Mournhold:
